Removal Date 6-6-06

This snake Southern Pacific Rattlesnake was found at a house on Mulholland Dr. near Beverly in Beverly Hills. The snake was 36" in length and the weight was 454 grams. Right after this shot, the snake did lunge attempting to bite. This is not typical behavior for this snake, however it is a wild animal and anything is possible. It also serves as a reminder that people should not mess with these snakes.
